Little Did I Know

I will remember,
That night when you held me close,
And whispered soft words,

In my ear.

Your arms around me,
Holding me tight to you; you
Whispered "I love You".

Those three words,

Spoken so softly,
Were they meant for me alone?
Or did you think I

wouldn't hear?

So many ways.
To describe how I felt then,
Mainly I felt scared,

Scared of us

And how close we were
To falling in love that night.
But I also felt

Happy, that

We could be this close,
And that we could feel this way,
At such a young age.

I wonder,

Are we moving too fast,
And we should take this slow, or
Let our feelings show?

This moment,

Is everything,
That I had hoped it would be.
So innocent, and

So perfect.

But I just wanted,
You to know, that I wouldn't mind,
if we stayed this way

Forever.
