its hard to see the pain behind the mask
we all wondered
but we never asked
she knew to love not to fight
you saw her in the school hallways
never knowing
she cried herself to sleep last night
her entire life
she thought to herself
"i deserve much more than this."
and now i know
its her i'll miss
she had to learn the hard way
that the worldis tough
she was much more than good enough
when yourworld made you feel so small
i was here to catchyou when you fall
i should never have let you go
i should never have let you down
but its too late
you gave up on me now
she felt that all hope was gone
looked inside to be strong
but she knew
she cant carry on
she was the girl
with the broken heart
that we all forgot
