Old Youth Romances

A poem about questioning your post-break up feelings.

Created by Runia on Monday, July 06, 2009

Too young to understand
what was between us
We just thought it was true
love, but we were oh so wrong
We fought, we cared for each other
We lied, we told the truth
We cried, we comforted each other
They all pointed
They all laughed
They all sighed
They all thought we were fools
Now that it ended
I see they were right
Almost like a bright light
But still, the longing
Exists, but it's a dull
One
I miss you, do you miss me
In the same way
My dear?
