I have fallen so far,
For so long.
Into the blue moon I stare,
For a glimmer of a hopeless love.
The pounding of a racing heart,
Within the soundless woods,
Do you hear me tremble?
When no one is around to hear me fall?
The weakest smile forms,
As the wind whispers her advice,
'Dream a new dream of a kinder means.'
To vanish in the daylight sun,
I sing the words of mother earth.
I stare into the bright abyss,
Once so filled with desire,
And the deepest longing.
Now is simply love.
I have fallen so far,
For so long,
Into the brightest star I stare,
This glimmer is no more hopeless
It is a dream.
