A Vampyres Lament

Written by me, this is one of my personal favorites besides "The Wolfs Lullabye"

Hiding in the shadows throughout the night,
Scared to be seen though feared by most,
If they knew she would be shunned from society,
and if they knew she would be called a freak.
They do not burn in sunlight nor hate garlic,
She eats garlic pickles and goes to church,
but the bloodlust is too much to bare,
most would give in to their thirst but she does not.
She does not harm anything,
she feels their pain and crys herself to sleep,
no one understand except for those like her,
Its harder than anyone would have dreamed.
Her life is hard dealing with school andthe bloodlust
its one of the hardest things to cope with really,
She always holds back and does not feed,
called "weak" and"stupid" by others like her.
"Why don't you give into your thirst?" others ask her.
"I don't have it in me to kill anything" she replies,
wiping a few solice tears from her eyes she smiles,
acting like nothing is wrong and everything is okay.
The human sall laugh at her calling her crazy,
While theothers laugh at her calling her weak,
she simply cries alone and bites her pillow,
she's shunned by both groups but what else is there to do?
And so she wipes the tears away once again,
and continues her hard life coping with the thirst and tries to be accepted by someone..
Where there ever be someone to accept her for who she is?
She always wonders if there will be someone one day-
This is a Vampyres Lament..
