Pieces of a Broken Heart
Shattered glass,
Scattered across the floor,
Glass from a broken heart,
10, 20, maybe more.
Too many pieces to bring back together,
Happiness, Sadness, Anger, and Cold
Her heart had too many feelings,
Too many to hold.
She confessed her love to him,
But he held back,
Each time she told him,
He left her heart with a crack.
Now that its broken,
She is broken too.
You can't just mend her heart back together,
You can't just use glue.
Her heart now is broken,
her soul lost,
she fell into a depression.
That was the cost.
Loving him,
hurt her inside.
She couldn't hold her feelings in,
Her feelings she couldn't hide.
Realizing what he did,
he tried to mend it back,
but he couldn't do it.
It started with her feelings,
but ended with a crack.
