Screaming

Yet ANOTHER paranoia poem! I'm on a roll here! This is another nightmare I've experienced recently involving screaming, as you can tell my the name... This one didn't freak me out as much as the hands reaching out of the darkness, though, so I don't like this one as much...

Dawn is gone

And with it, the sun

Light is dead

As I lay on my bed

Shadows creep in

Filling me within

The fear with its sheer

Madness once again appears

Deep in my mind,

In its deepest corners, behind

The light, I hear

A sound which wells up my fear

It fills my ears

My life it continues to pierce

Screaming

Weeping

Wailing

Startling

It fills me within

Always, forever it has been

Everything else is lost

With this as the cost

Sanity

To insanity

I become

As life disappears with the sun

And once again

Filling me within

Paranoia shines

For me, it finds
