Traveler
Everyone seems to like Machine, so I thought I'd make another one in the same style. I don't like this one half as much though. It's kinda repetitive... but it was still fun to write, so who cares. Please rate. And I realize
You're not who I
Remember you to be
Just yesterday
I touched your heart
Now look at you
You're torn apart
I know now
That I've learned to love you
And now you stand before me
Familiar but not quite right
And the one who stole your soul
Runs away into the night
And I promise myself I'll find you
I look into your eyes
And I realize
You're not who I
Remember you to be
From so long ago
When the world was clean
Except for you
You evil machine
You learned to live
And I learned to love you
And now you stand before me
Familiar but not quite right
And the love we used to have
Fades away into the night
And I promise myself I'll find you
I look into your eyes
And I realize
You're not who I
Remember you to be
We braved this new world
Fighting side by side
You took me in
And believe me, I tried
I tried so hard
But I couldn't love you
And now you stand before me
Familiar but not quite right
And our old love rushes back
From the empty void of night
And I say to myself: I've found you
