Her Hula Hoop

She dances on a tightrope,

whistles in the tree tops,

skips along a bridge of hope,

then stops.

She keeps the world spinning

with her hula hoop

go round.

There's a spot of tea

and it is free

just for us.

Tea pots on the tree

yes what an oddity

at least to us.

How about cracker

to have while we track her

we'll eat as we discuss.

Should I stack her

as the night's getting blacker?

so much to discuss.

But will it hurt

if the sky starts to cry?

And will it hurt

if the fly tells a lie?

No, no, please don't hurt.

You won't find your rainbow

without the rain.

She dances on a tightrope,

whistles in the tree tops,

skips along a bridge of hope,

then stops.

She keeps the world spinning

with her hula hoop

go round

go round

go round
