The Purple Rose

The Purple Rose

The petals are as soft as a baby's cheek,

The rain drops linger on them,

As if trying to caress it forever.

The pure beauty of it takes your breath away.

It's almost as if you're in the presence of an angel.

You see it and then,

You suddenly believe that anything is possible.

It's enchanting.

It could keep even the busiest minds,

spell bound.

The fragrance sends shivers down your spine

And lingers in your nose,

Like the ever-present air.

It's an almost myth.

It's wanted and needed,

minute by minute.

And all women desire to be

As stunning,

And as yearned for,

The Purple Rose
