I hate you, you ass
Why me? I know you don't care
and I can't ever make you...
why fake what never will be?
why even ask me?
'cos of the pain you give me?
this pain you burn into my soul?
with just one word you're creating such a false hope
only it's destroyed by my own thought
'cos if I think I know its a lie
Growing on my heart like a cancer
but all I really want is to slip away into it
the lie that creates a new reality
Where you're not my question- you're my answer
only to be destroyed by the old

I'm just a pawn in your twisted game
You're trying to make all the pieces move to your will
I never will - I know I never will
The only thing that could let me down is my own will
I pray it holds icey against you
You don't even know me
so why pretend...
just to make me hate you?
