Can’t you slip away from my hand as I did from your own?
Are you not afraid of what I am becoming -
Shallow and vein, with an irritating ego which is clearly shown
Shouldn’t you have seen this coming?
Taking your emotions and turning them into ashes
It is not anything more than disgusting
Not a sight of love to be found, yet this feeling never passes
Like I did not hurt you and this is purely lusting
Have you no integrity, still continuing to be persistent
An obedient dog would stay and not follow
But you are different and do not wish to stay distant
Not worrying about the future of tomorrow
And unlike you, I cannot say that I am trying
And I cannot say that I do not love you for that, because I would be lying
