The type of person who could make me laugh
even if it was something critics would boo
you wouldnt be caring
because it was something you thought worth sharing
you gave me a feeling
I thought only one other guy could
but how wrong I was
and after all this time
all this time of laughing and joking
our friendship ruined
by one stupid word
and to think I wanted to tell you
what I really thought about our friendship
now that moment has passed
all over her name
I didnt know you were mad
you hadnt talked to me in a week
now here I am wanting to cry
to cry and to weep
who knew Id end up in love with you

but maybe she did
then again it wasnt meant to be
wouldnt you agree?

1080 miles away
even that was enough to make my skies grey
you never told me why she yelled at you
I respected that
although it could have been over me?
thats a guarantee

all becuase I refused to obey
what you told me not to say
who knew you would go away
