Holes in my chest.
I neither have the means nor the will to run,
You already got too close.
I feel your breathing in my neck,
Your hands around my throat,
Squeezing ever tighter,
Taking away my breath,
Dragging me towards your darkness,
Away from my conscience and dreams,
Pulling me into your trance.
I am nowhere without you,
And you know it all too well,
You hollow me out from the inside,
Pouring your poison in through the holes in my chest.
There was a heart once,
But not anymore,
I took it out and hid it, far away,
Where you can't reach it.
