A thing most people seek
When everything is going well
They think life is a bliss.
Love is an illusion
A thing that can make or break you
If you're lucky you'll find true love
If not you're in for suffering.

A never-ending lie
After everything you've sacrificed
It brings more grief than joy.
Love is an illusion
A complicated thing
One might say he loves you
Who knows what he feels inside?
Love is an illusion
A very curious thing
It's something like drinking coffee
It's bitter yet sweet.
Love is an illusion
A very hurtful game
Tired of always losing
I quit and stay away.

A gratifying thing
And just as soon as the story starts
It all comes to an end.
