My Heart
My heart, bounds and leaps with joy
Every time you are near
It smiles and laughs with your heart
With you it has no fear
It pounds loud and fast inside of me
Like a quick drum line cadence
It would follow you when you leave just like a dog
But my chest is its fence
It cries when you arent around
It longs to be with you
Sometimes my heart wonders and hopes
That your heart feels that way too
