Let Me Kick His Sorry Ass Out of This World - He Deserves It
Talk to me.
That fake veneer of yours is convincing.
I'm surprised every time I see you without it.
Happy, social, determined to get where you're going.
It's not right - everything he does to you.
Sweatshirts in summer to keep the marks covered.
Huge sunglasses at night, afraid of bright lights.
But what tells me the most is that new smile of yours -
The one where the corners of your mouth dip down.
You know, I'm really afraid for you -
I'm scared of all the things he could possibly do.
He's already turned your world upside-down.
He played with you and messed you around.
You don't - and never will - deserve what he does to you.
And if he makes you believe that you do,
Remember, you've got friends like me,
Who will kick his sorry ass to outer space.
So stop all of your plastic smiles,
And let the bastard go, grumbling like the coward he is.
After all, if he hurts someone as great as you,
He deserves to be hurt just as much.
Let me know what's behind your fake veneer.
Tell me everything and nothing you want me to hear.
I won't laugh or mock your stupidity.
I won't yell or scream to make you feel worse.
Just let me know; I want to help.
Let me kick his sorry ass out of this world.
He deserves it.
