Darkness of the Day

Inky layers of darkness
Consume me, become me.
My story is unknown
To the darkness - I belong.

And in this burden
That i endure
My wilted heart is cursed to know
The deepest parts of sorrow

And this curse that i have
It torments me with pain
As the light beyond the shadow
Is filled with happiness and i cannot be the same

But a crack of joy has broken through
This torment and this pain
And he came and brought my heart a new hope
And spoke softly spoken words...
