She is a robot

Created by saveroftheworld on Saturday, September 08, 2007

It doesn't matter if she sleeps in your bed now cos I'm hanging out with the rockstars who made your mind what it is.
She's a robot but you're better than that.

I wish I was as brazen as you can be.
I wish I didn't always abandon my post and run off into the woods.

I know you think I'm flighty and can't hold anything down. But I'm tough as well and although I run from trouble I'd stick about for you.
I write pretty words and I can dance as well. I'd dance for you. Promise.

We'll listen to System and pretend no time has gone by at all. That we're still children with nothing better to do than play.

God, I miss you so much it hurts me. Even after so long of not talking.
I hate the people you play with now. But you don't care enough to change things. So I'll say goodbye to yesterday and step onwards into oblivion.

I'll take indie and you have jazz. You can take the stereo if you'll let me have some hope?

The hand is still out there and the heart is willing. My flesh is here and yours is there but it's all the same to me. I never got to wake up beside you anyway. Not since you scared me with the monsters under the bed.
