She cried as she lay so still on the floor;
The pain leaking out faster than before.
It had broken apart, the thing she called 'life';
Leaving her with and unending strife.
Her friends they'd all left.
Her parents had too.
The things she'd excelled at,
The worries so blue.
The world she'd created,
With words so untrue.
The pain, hopes, and lies
That had brought them together,
The tears, screams, and cries,
Through which they had weathered.
The life she'd built up,
Laying in ashes.
Words she had said,
Withering like trashes.
One name passed her lips
As she stared at the floor,
Lost in the sobs
That cried out for more.
So she lay down to sleep,
To sleep without waking.
To see the whole world,
And then start its breaking.
To end the life that had left her behind,
Escape all the dark places that tortured her mind;
The beginning, the end, and all in-between,
Was lost as she let herself float on downstream.
Yessssssss
