I stay here and lay,
and watch the children play,
as I gaze at the bright sky above.
I hear the sweetest tweet,
as I close my eyes to sleep,
then open my mouth to sing along.
Our song is so bright,
so filled with morning light,
in this place I feel I belong.
But then the song is done,
the bird flew to the sun,
and with it my heart flew away.
