Think of Me

Down from my eye
To the corner of my lips
Where bitter salt
Pools on my tounge

I'm afraid to open my mouth
Afraid to let you hear
That tell-tale shake in my voice
Evidence of my anger and sadness

How dare you say
Maybe we'll keep her
Like i'm some object
Just to throw or keep on whim

We were supposed to be three
Equal, and love eachother
for who they are
we werent' supposed to be like this

Now i wish for earlier days
When we all talked and laughed
together
no more

Forever wondering
What you say about me
Forever worrying
you'll forget about me

I'm here, I'm your friend
I know i'm busy
I try not to neglect
But you've already given up

You two are off
In your own little world
While I try to get on with my life
Wishing you'd understand me

Isn't that what best friends are for?
