Walking in the Devils gate

when all hope is lost...

Walking in the Devil’s Gate

You’re walking in the Devil’s gate,

You’d turn back, but it’s too late.

Upon this world, you never knew,

Of your endless lies that were never true.

You’re walking in the Devil’s hand,

Roaming around the forgotten land.

Hiding in places never coming out,

Your life soon becomes eternal doubt.

Your living in the Devil’s lies,

Never fighting, just wanting to die.

Everything you do is dumb,

You’re living proof that the world is scum.

You see a light in the Devil’s eye,

A light that could make the crippled rise

A light that makes the mute sing,

A light that conquers everything.

A light so fearful it can stretch far and wide,

Leaving you to run and hide.

In hope that you will not be found,

But you can’t hide on holy ground.

Past the Devil’s iron gate,

It can change your entire fate.

So, take that chance or you’ll soon find,

That the Devil is not very kind.

Inside that haunted gate you’ll see,

That Hell is a place you cannot flee,

It’s a world of torment, pain and deceit.

It a world full of demons you don’t want to meet.

So, here me out and I’ll let you know,

That life is a test, you must reap and sew.

Draw nearer to the light every day,

Then, pray for your sins to go away.

It’s a test of life we all must take,

So, be careful with all the decisions you make,

Feed on his word every so and hour

The Bible is a book filled with much power.

Now will you be ready when he comes?

It’s only a matter of time.

Make the choice and do it now

Before it’s far too late,

Or otherwise, you’ll end up dead… walking in the Devil’s gate.
