What a Lie!

I made this poem when I was too sick and tired with all the lies around me. Yeah, may people (including me, sometimes) tell a lie. And, this what I felt when I encounter a lie. Well, hope u'll like it.

What a Lie!

My parents said

I’m kind

I’m smart

I’m pretty

My friends said

I’m kind

I’m smart

I’m pretty

Other people said

I’m kind

I’m smart

I’m pretty too

But...Am I really like that?

WHY they said like that?

For WHAT they said like that?

To WHOM they said like that?

Is that for you? He?

No. But for me.

Me? Is that true?

Ah, it must be a LIE.

Because I’m nobody

I’m not a president or even a prime minister

Neither a corruptor nor a villain

But, I’m just a normal STUDENT

NOW, everybody said

I’m a diligent student

I’m a good student

I’m a religious student


Is that for you? He?

Nope, but me instead

Me? Is that true?

Yeah, That’s TRUE

Because I’m a student

I like to play TRUANT

I like to CHEAT during my exam

I’m not that religious because I’m too LAZY to pray

So, what do you say now?

Who’s telling a lie?

Me, He, She, or They?

And the answer is: ALL OF US ARE LIARS
