Repented Samurai - A Himura Kenshin Poem

I really like Kenshin in the series, and so I made a poem about his path to repent his sins and his love to Kaoru. :)

Have these hands bring protection, save the ones in need

And have me repent for the souls, the ones murdered in greed

Blood does not lurk on this reversed blade

I've left my sinful past behind, I've left it all to fade

Now new faces enlighten my heart; how vibrant their souls

Yet they cannot comprehend my struggle in the past, in the frost bitten cold

Through bitter and lighthearted battles, one bond remains

Her love and devotion to me, shall always remain the same

Until my last swordsman days, the end of all my astonishing endeavors

She'll grasp onto my repented heart, and treasure it forever
