someday I'll fly away..

Standing up here with my head in the clouds.
Just what would it take to fly?
Towering over your head,
you can't see me.
Will you ever see me?
Stepping to the edge of my world,
Feeling a breeze that calls so sweetly.
One dive, one great plunge.
That's all that it takes.
I hold out my arms.
Forgetting my reasons to stay as it starts to rain.
I just want to fly away.
Inching closer, looking down.
I see the "real world" for what it is.
Wishing I didn't have to climb so high,
I fall into the wind.
