How can u touch me - a face like mine?
It does nothing but scare me away.
Every motion on my senses,
Leaves me feeling senseless -
Before triggering nothing but pain.
How can you look at me,
As if I'm worth 1000 smiles?
When my own reflection -
Antithetical perfection,
Sends me running miles.
It's burried deep inside of me,
A place your words cannot reach.
I want to be all yours,
I want to touch your soul.
When you're around me, I want to feel whole.
Let me take you to my hidden place,
Away from all my childish fears.
Remove the pain which has burnt my body,
Over the course of all these years.
Please embrace me with your love,
Just let me be free.
Please prove to me,
What I alone, cannot seem to see.
