7am

It's 7am and I've had no sleep.
i've just laid here thinking about my life.
2 hours of self reflection is never quite safe
Especially when you're down in the dumps.
It's amazing how much you can recall in such a short time
And it's inspiring to remember the times you've had -
but it's painful when you realise the mistakes that you've made.
And how you'll never, be able to turn them back.
Everything you once had, seems all so far away,
And the rest of your life feels like it'll never be the same.
but it's pointless to dwell on the past you'll never have -
Because there's new surprises on the dawn of every day.
You just have to break free, from despair's cold grip -
Dare to be strong and throw it all away.
Look to the future with welcoming arms,
And smile, like you've never smiled before.
