Picturebook Darkness Dies
hmm...Clear, darkened waters assemble, at their naked feet.
Their footsteps crunch the rounded pebbles,
And hand in hand: darkness flails.
Treading upon a thousand years of destruction:
They're venturing into an eternity of beauty -
And as they look out to the sea,
They're living a surrealist dream.
As far out into the sunset as the tarnished eye concieves,
Shimmers the moonshine: blessing a midnight current.
Like a calm zephyr, they discover eachother
For the very first time.
Falling back into the water, a loverush seizes their veins.
Their lips have sealed an entwined fate.
And as the water buries their bodies; in every breath they're drowning -
Falling endlessly, into eachothers love.
