A little sick and twisted a guess...

Sweet little Emily,
Who would have known?
You were only eight years old.
You loved your dresses,
lace, ruffles, and bows.
Your walls were colored a soft pink.
Pictures of Angels
hung on your bedroom walls,
Angels so soft and sweet.
The dolls you played with,
still lay in their cribs.
The golden curls you had,
Every girl envied.
Even that perfect white cat you had.
And prayers every night.
Your soft brown eyes,
they held so much innocence
No one ever guessed what you did at night.
Not even Mommy and Daddy.
Every night, around midnight
you would sneak out
through the window
Some nights you came home with a big smile.
The town never would have known.
One night, Daddy caught you
as you came in the window
he turned on the light.
Lightning flashed and Thunder crashed-
you were soaked from the storm.
Mommy came running,
she screamed at the sight!
Your hair matted down
a big grin on your face
Blood down the front of your nightgown
and- blood soaking your hands.
"It comes out with bleach"
is all you said.
They never knew
that in their house
slept the serial murder
the one who has killed now five.
Mommy and Daddy cleaned you up
Then sent you to bed
but sleep did not greet you
So you listened instead.
"We have to do something,
She is dangerous,
We have to turn her in,
our beautiful angel..."
For you, that simply would not do.
So you waited 'till they fell asleep
Then crept to their room
and whispered ever so softly
"I'm truly and sorry,
but telling on me will not do
Mommy and Daddy,
I realy do love you."
Lightning flashed-
you raised the knife above your head.
Thunder crashed-
your arms came down so fast.
That night, the murderer of five
ended her own life.
