The sun climed down letting the moon take her place, for he, is her lover, and the stars are their children.
As the moon awoke so did a wolf, who cried to the moon asking for guidance.
But the moon could not help the lonely wolf so instead he gave him one of his daughters, the most beautiful star.
The wolf soon fell in love with the star, but the moon took her away, and the wolf howled for him to give her back, so the moon said " My son, I will give you thy star, but you must howl me to sleep everynight." and the wolf agreed.
But after many years the wolf thought the moon would forget about the promise and he let the howling gently fade with the wind
Yet the moon had not forgoten and he said to the wolf "Dear wolf you have brocken your promise, soI must take thy star away."
So now everynight- or even in the day - The wolf howls the moon to sleep....so he can keep his love.....
