Love...
It affects people regardless of age, gender, or culture.
It can range from pure bliss, to downright painful.
It makes people do crazy things.
It has inspired some of the greatest authors, musicians, and artists.
It has led some people to their deaths.
Out of all the emotions, it is the most confusing, and least understood.
It doesn't have to be romantic.
It can come and go very quickly.
Sometimes it hurts.
Being in love requires that you love yourself first.
You can find a soulmate at any age.
It cannot be bought, manipulated, or changed.
It is forever.
It can consume your mind, body, and thoughts.
It causes people to lose energy worrying and causes lack of sleep.
Through all the pain, tears, and worries, it's all worth it. Even if you lose hope, never give up. It can be found in the most unexpected places, and strike without warning at the most random of times.
This is more of a list than a poem...
