Requiem for a Shadow Universe
You hold out your hand to me, inviting me to become part of you as you spin through the endless ocean of people, you want me to dance with you, to join you in an eternal waltz, our dance, our song, our way of making the pull of reality slip away like a shattered dream, our own shadow universe where time stretches on forever under a nocturnal symphony of stars, we revolve around the room in step to our night time rhapsody, never wanting this moment to end, to become the dark requiem that signals a finnish to our fantasy realm, we draw apart for a brief moment and then come together in an everlasting embrace.
