My LA teacher told us to write a poem on volcanoes. The first thing that came to my mind was my experience of walking through an old volcano. Hope you like it!

Hiking through the middle
No eruptions in years
But we still have fear
Miles away eruption occurs
Keep walking through the middle.

Hailstorms through the middle
Pieces of ice fall
Smog overhead encroaches
Cold rain falls, fear in your eyes
Keep walking through the middle.
