is the grass greener on the other side?

a poem i wrote because i saw a wall between groups of people and i finally broke it down at my school

I sit here on the border

Wondering were are the real boundary’s

Why were they made?

How long have the existed?

What is it like on the other side?

I was tempted to cross

But scared at the same time

What would happed if I should

Take a step

I realized a journey starts with only one

I decided I should have to find out sooner or later

I look around everyone’s different

I thought why back out now?

This is my only chance I have been given

I searched the crowed of stares

Finding a single warm smile

I approached

I saw these people look different yet,

They act the same

Maybe the myth is true the grass is greener on the other side
