911 Ballad

One day we will always remember,
Is Wednesday the 9th of September,
But not for good, but for bad,
A horrible day, it made so many sad.

3 planes set off, heading for a city,
The end result wouldn’t be that pretty,
‘Cause they took it over, and turned it around,
Later two buildings would crash to the ground.

They collided with the buildings, standing tall,
Then, with the explosion they started to fall,
The people inside, all killed in the blaze,
Their families lives lost in a haze.

So many people died on this day,
And we understand when they have to say,
“I don’t want to talk about it anymore,
the day those two buildings crashed to the floor.”
