YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL TO MEDo you know how many girls think they aren't pretty enough because of all the pressure around them? They think that you can't be beautiful without makeup , and that's a lie. They think they're to fat or to skinny, what are we teaching our little girls? Pass this around, to all little girls, know that they ARE beautiful. No matter what anyone says. Let the little girls smile because THEY DESERVE TO .
Beyond the wall you put up so high
The one always broken, crumbling
Covering the pain and the reflection
Of a face you do not want to claim "It's mine"
I see something else hidden inside
Beside the girl who doesn't believe
That the world is a playground full of life
Only a battlefield where it's all ugly
There's a heart so beautiful, there it resides
And you don't want to look at yourself
You don't want to admit to the goodness
The rest of the world is just so perfect
And you don't think you're part of it
But I see hope where you see dark
There is a way when you do not find
No matter what you think or what they say
I know you're beautiful and quite alive
Behind your eyes so dead with pain
Hiding behind the walls you put up
You're secretly waiting for the walls to break
But you're scared of what is the world beyond
--To this I say, do not fret
The world is like a mirror, it reflects
Whatever it is you want to see
And if, my dear, you believe
Then the world can reflect your beauty.
So just so you know, your beauty CAN show.
No matter what anyone else may say,
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
IN YOUR OWN SPECIAL WAY!
Ignore the comments.
Don't you cry,
For they're ALL JUST LIES!
YOUR BEAUTIFUL AND ITS TRUE,
AND YOU CAN ONLY BE WHO YOU ARE!
AND THAT'S YOU !
Ignore the comments, ignore the lies,
ignore the people, ignore them good.
Because it doesn't matter what they think.
You're beautiful to me.
