I Can't Forget You

I wrote this poem for a person that I have had to pretend is not there.

Sleepless nights
Sitting up in my bed
Thinking of you
And every word you've said
All the time we spent
I can't let you go
Your memory haunts me
And I've reached a new low
Your touch...
Your kiss...
Your embrace...
I don't think I can do this
Living without you
Going on day to day
Like you don't exist
It's too high a price to pay
I can't forget what you did for me
And all you got me through
I guess this all adds up to one thing:
I can't forget about you.
