I'm on a train, Going Nowhere, On a Train to NowhereThe trees roll past,
As does the sky,

We leave the cows behind,
We leave behind the pastures,

I look back and see people float by,
Along with all my troubles,
On a Train to Nowhere
The carriage was small,
I was the only being aboard,
On a Train to Nowhere
There is no destination,
No arrival time,
On a Train to Nowhere
Birds soar high above,
Their chirps are mocking me,
On a Train to Nowhere
Once you're on,
You can't get off,
On a Train to Nowhere
It's a unending,
One way trip,
On a Train to Nowhere
I expect the wheels to screech to a stop,
But who am I kidding? I am,
On a Train to Nowhere
No quarrels,
No foes,
On a Train to Nowhere
No expectations,
No failures,
On a Train to Nowhere
Nothing to do,
All the time in the world,
On a Train to Nowhere
