Mari (your) POV: Looking outside you nervously watched as the werewolves leapt up and were struck down by the magic barrier again and again. You turned to ask Ryan something, but when you saw his face, you immediately forgot the question.

Ryan was staring intensely towards the floor, and his face looked sort of... sad. Conflicted. Ryan glanced up suddenly and saw you looking at him. You opened your mouth, but before you could ask if he was alright, he gave a weak smile and said,

"It's nothing, I'm fine..." (dont click) -.- "No you are not fine. Come on tell me what's wrong!" *unsure* "Alright if you say so.... you want some water or something?" "Oh bull****! I'm not stupid ya know." *pouty face* "Please? Pretty please tell me?"

Ryan shook his head slightly, but it seemed as if he did it more for his benefit than yours. You lightly grab his arm, lead him to the couch and sit him down next to you. "Please," you whispered, "I want to help."

Good God, Ryan is such a stubborn a** -.- I'm just trying to help. =[ I feel so bad!! Is it something I did? Poor Ryan... he looks really upset about something. I think I'm blushing being this close to him.... God he's gorgeous...

Ryan still would not respond so you ended up just looking at him, waiting in case he decided he wanted to talk. And you noticed things that you really hadnt noticed before. His pajamas were much like the clothes you'd seen him wear during the day.

The pants were black and his shirt as well, but the shirt had a white/gray pattern of skulls on it. You also saw something you hadnt noticed before. An earring in his left ear. It was just a simple stud, the color was blood red. Just thinking of that sent shivers up your spine. Ryan's hair was spiked up as usual and his eyes looked more sad than intense like they usually did. For some reason you wanted to reach out and stroke your fingers through his hair, but that would definitely be awkward!

You smiled to yourself. You hadnt really thought about it before, but Ryan had a very "punk" look.

In the midst of your thoughts, you suddenly found yourself staring directly into Ryan's eyes. His face muscles were tense and his eyes.... more intense than usual. There was still space between you but for some reason you started to feel uncomfortable.

*gulp* "Yes?" *speechless* I could be forever lost in those gorgeous eyes... Whoa. o.0 I guess he wants to talk now. *stare back with the same intensity to show you are listening*

Ryan opened and closed his mouth once before speaking. "You really want to know what's wrong?" Suddenly he grabbed your wrist- tightly! A small sound escaped you and you looked back at him thinking-

Ow! What the hell is wrong with him?! All of a sudden, I'm not so sure this is a good idea... Oh my god,what is he gonna do, I'm scared- he's a good guy right he won't do anything right? I wish someone else were here! T_T *still staring back with the same intensity*

"Huh? You want to?!" Ryan was really getting worked up and you were worrying. Remaining silent you nodded your head. Ryan paused again before- cliffhanger muahahaha sorry (not really actually :P) but i think its time to check in with the others.

NOOOOO!!!! What's he gonna say?? ... -.- I hate you.... But-but :'(... grrrrrrr that's so unfair... Yes!! Is Jake awake yet? What about Alex, is he ok? And Joshua did he do anything to stop Alex? Tell me! Finally it's about time. That exchange with Ryan was really getting on my nerves.

Joshua's POV: I watched in horror as Alex charged the werewolf with a battle cry. Alex leapt at the werewolf and slammed it into the wall, pounding on it wherever he could. The werewolf got up quickly, knocking Alex off. As Alex struggled to get upright

again, the werewolf lashed out and flung him against the wall. Alex crumpled and fell there on the floor, entirely immobile.

I felt my muscles tense and I felt anger rise up and boil inside me. I paused and reached inside myself to find my magic. I focused on several things. First, Mari. How beautiful she had looked that first day I saw her, her hair, her eyes, everything.

Perfect. Her spirit I'd seen that day at the park, and her strength she maintained even while remaining our captive. I thought of my best friends in the world. Before I'd found them I'd been alone, I had no one, living in the woods by myself. They had given me a home and a family. But now because of this THING, two were lying on the floor knocked out, and the other... i didnt know what had become of him. Or Mari. While focusing intently on these things, I used the power they gave me

to reach inside the earth. Deep inside the earth, I searched down, down, down until with my mind I felt the center of the earth. I latched my power onto some of the heat and pulled it up through the surface quickly, quicker, until - WHOOOOOMMMM!!!

A stream of molten lava shot through the ground, up through the house, and burned the werewolf. It was quite a spectacle, and chills went up my spine. The werewolf howled one last ear-splitting time before it was nothing but ash. I then took the lava and forced it back down to the center of the earth. The werewolf was gone. But I had used too much power. My legs felt like jelly and I slid down the wall. My eyes started hazing over. I felt the fire of my magic dwindling inside me, barely a flicker.

I crumpled onto the floor and softly whispered, "Mari"... before sliding into a dark abyss.

o.0 Wow... that was incredible. Good job Joshua!! He is so sweet!! //^.^// He thinks I'm perfect... One werewolf down, plenty to go. Oh my god!! All three of them are out T_T I hope they'll be ok (me: nah I think I'll just kill them all haha) >=[ not funny!
