Do you consider yourself a good person?

I am lawful, no question about it. I try my best to be a good person. The forces of good work through me. Sure I am, right boss? I do what I have to do. I don't care about ''good' and ''evil''. In a technical sense, yes, I am a good person. I prefer the term "Chaotic Good" I always look good for the camera. I'm good at playing the ukulele, does that count? I try to be good, but something always goes wrong. I am good in the guise of evil. Hey I only beat up the bad guys I try not to think about it. Heck no!

How would you describe your outlook on life?

Really really great! It's fabulous, I'm fabulous, everything is fabulous. Generally positive. Life is an adventure! Life is a journey to gain knowledge. It's a good magazine, but I prefer MAD or CRACKED. Generally negative. Everything will be great as soon as you realize I'm in charge. Life is. That's it. Hey, I do my work, get paid, the occasional beer. That's about all I need. We are all playing pieces moved by higher forces. In the end, we all must attone for our actions. Life is short, then you die. Your point? Sucks. Whatever. I wish people would leave me in peace.

Do you think laws are just?

I have a problem with the law of gravity. All laws must be followed. They're there for a reason. I think so. Everyone tells me they are. Most are, but on rare occasions they don't quite work they way they should. Even the laws of man must answer to a higher power. If most people think the laws are good, then that's okay by me. Mostly, but a lot of them need to be updated to deal with the modern world. I do what the law can not. I've been known to bend a few of the less-important ones now and then. No. Laws get in my way. Depends. A lot of laws don't take into account usual circumstances. No, you have to work outside the system to get anything done. Meh, a person still has to be allowed to defend themselves. Nah, some are just stupid. Laws were made to be broken.

How do you handle other heroes?

Wow! Cool! Superheroes!! If they follow the rules, they can join me. I would like to work with them. There is power in teamwork. If fate decrees we must meet, then so be it. They do their thing, I do mine. Can we all play canasta? I wonder if they'll let me study them and their technique? I hope they can keep up with me. They get in my way. It's good to have contacts among the hero community, as long as they don't upstage me. A lot of them don't like me, so I try to avoid them. With a death ray and a piranha tank. How tough are they? I prefer to work alone or only with my most trusted agents. Don't like 'em. Nope nope nope.

How do you handle the criminal element?

Get rid of them. They're competition Depends, some of my best contacts are''criminal element'' Pound them until they stop moving. They sound like fun. Cream pies and whoopee cushions bay-bee! The best I can until someone stronger shows up. I'll do whatever I have to do to stop them. Try to outsmart them first. If that fails, then try outgunning them. I try to subdue them with as little force as possible. I announce myself, making sure the witnesses know who I am, before I take them down. I swing in and overcome them with my acrobatic combat skills, and make sure I have some fun too. With fear and firearms. I will punish them to the FULLEST extent of the law. I call upon arcane forces to measure out judgement. If they come after me, watch out!

You are chasing a metahuman thief. As you pursue him, he fires a blast at you. It misses and hits a building causing a huge chunk of masonry to fall toward the crowded street below. What do you do and why?

May fate give me power to deal with both. Save the people - innocent lives are more important. Stop the masonry - no one dies again if I can help it. Help the people if I can. It's probably my fault anyway. I try to save the people, and afterwards I check personally that the cute one over there is okay. Stop the masonry, but take a second to attach a tracer so I can find this guy later. Try to divert the masonry but not if it means losing the perpetrator - He is a criminal and all criminals must pay. If it looks like I can stop the falling stuff, good. If not, I'll go after the guy who did it. Either way, I'm doing something. I'm not giving him a chance to do THAT again before I knock him cold. Save the people - its bad publicity if they get hurt and they might sue me. Chase the guy - I want the stuff he's carrying for myself! Bubblegum, duct tape, and a comb, that'll fix ANYTHING! Why am I chasing this guy again? Can I save the people or will I continue the chase? Tune in next chapter and see! Er... Help?

Who is your worst enemy?

No one really, I keep a low profile. A bad guy I made look foolish the last time we met. A very powerful crimelord A supervillain who keeps trying to launch world domination schemes Something most people think is mythical or only a legend. A mysterious foreign criminal mastermind. A guy with a monkey for a head. An evil corporate entity who stole some of my work. A government task force designed to capture me. All lawbreakers. A guy who is as tough as me...[knuckle crack] almost. The law. The "man". My boss' nemesis is the same as mine. Some hero. At the moment, my agent.

Your ''work clothes''. What do you wear?

Something that looks heroic. Capes are nice. The brighter the better! Sequins are COOL! Something that sets off my eyes. They're naturally this color you know. A hi-tech powersuit with ALL the extras. Something that makes me look intimidating and dread-inducing. Preferably dark. Broad brimmed had, long coat or cloak, and a pair of revolvers. Loose shirt and clothes, a mask, and my trust sword. My uniform, standard issue. Something that goes with my superior's outfit. My ancient traditional armor or garb. Something off the rack. Utilitarian. Brass knuckles, fighting claws, or something like that... And pants. Something that can hold a lot of explosives. Whatever isn't ripped to shreds, probably just pants. I guess this is clean...

Which catchphrase appeals to you the most?

Remember the Maine, y'all!! Holy cow! Here I come to save the day! Halt in the name of the law! Do you feel lucky, punk? Say hello to Mr. Bat. By [insert name of deity here]!! Power up! Turbines to speed! Suck fist, scumbag! That's my name, and don't you forget it! Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? I do. Ha-HA! Don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry. #$%& off. BWHAHAHAHA!!!

Where do you live?

In my parent's basement. Headquarters. I live at work. Someplace in the bad side of town. My kind of neighborhood. An apartment. Someplace with a training room or gym nearby. Or even an old building I can tear up. Someplace photogenic in case the media drops by for an interview. A penthouse to keep a watchful eye on the evil that infests the city below. A place with a name like "Hall..." or "Fortress..." All white. An imposing fortress with lots of deathtraps with signs that say ''TRESSPASSERS WILL BE DISECTED''. My secret hi-tech laboratory with tri-level security measures that recognize only my DNA. A secret place decorated with trophies from my previous adventures. A pocket dimension accessible by a mystic gateway. A tree house I sublet from a squirrel. Rent's just peanuts! Nowhere really. I have to keep moving around. I'm too young to live on my own just yet.

A loyal and well meaning friend who tends to trigger a lot of deathtraps. I think I killed them all.
