Okay. First of all... what do you look like? Take a minute to consider wardrobe as well.

Dark. Mysterious. Lithe. Wearing somethign that'll blend in easily. Not that you'd even catch a glimpse of me. Strong. I keep myself shaved so the filthy peasants can't get their lice on me. I wear what nature provides. So what if I look and smell like an animal? I look completely normal. Of course. I wear whatever fits. That's the scary part.. I could be any one of you humans. I dress dark, the better to hide in the shadows, so no one has to look at me... Beautiful exotic clothing, and looks to match. I'm not from around -here-, you know. Bah, wardrobe is trivial. I wear simple robes, unless going to the court of a superior.

Do you have a goal or calling you got after your embrace?

To raise my clan to the praise and worship they deserve. We're decended from gods, you know. Bah. I have no call but the call of the Wild. I run where my heart takes me in the wilderness. No, no... no real goal here. But I delight in showing others what they do not wish to see. Just to hide from others... can't let anyone see me like this. To lie, cheat, trick and steal! All in good fun, of course. If they can't take a joke, it's their problem. To prove we're not just some joke. We deserve respect! Oh... I wander. If a superior wishes me to carry out a task, I will.

How do others tend to see you as?

Animals, of course. Not that we care at all. Loonies and Madmen! Ah, but it's accurate, no cause to complain much. Monsters, I'm sure. Foul diseases they don't want to deal with. Who can blame them? They have the nerve to call us Charlatans! We don't -lie-, we trick. So there. I'm sure they saw us as a joke until we clawed our way into clandom. Ha! Who's laughing now? Who will we usurp next? Assassins. Accurate, I suppose, but there is more to us than that... They compare us to evil serpents who crawl on their bellies and hiss lies to trick mortals into eating forbidden fruit.

How do you see your peers, the other low clans?

They're more receptive of the truth than those supposedly 'above' us. But a few are still blind... They're outcasts, as are we. But too self-obsessed to realize it. Bah. They trust us no more than our 'superiors', so we must keep an eye on them all. Even then sling muck at us. But they know we won't remain in the muck for long. They hate us for that. Curious how they call us 'low', when many of the others possess infinitely more honor than those suposedly 'above' them. Some truly deserve to be low. Others show remarkable will and rage against the world that damned them. Some, like us, can fend for themselves. Others are too busy submitting to understand the importance of independence.

How about your 'superiors'?

So high and mighty until they need something from us! Then they crawl into the mud with us to get it. Ah, such a pity they always kick us out. We could be valuable if they'd just trust us. They -need- us... even if they're too blind and hypocritical to admit it. It was by their command that many were killed and that blood shall remain on their hands. Just another example of the tyranny of laws. Smile and nod, they can be useful tools it properly manipulated. Pathetic. They think themselves exempt from the laws of Predator and Prey. They try to impose order on all, and fail every time. Who are the madmen now?

What's the worst trait you gained from your embrace?

I have an addictive personality. There's always room for another vice. My clan superiors are doing something to us newly embraced... I don't know what... I bear the mark of a horrible crime I never committed. I'm extra-sensitive to sunlight. Even more than most vampires. It's not so much a -bad- trait, becoming more and more like an animal... The madness, the delicious madness. For god's sake, look at me. I'm a monster.

If you were to embrace another, what would catch your eye in your potential childe?

A talented magic user with background in the occult. Who won't rebel. Or else. Some trustworthly. Dedicated, loyal.. and probably from my own family. Someone strong-willed and definitely not weak. Maybe someone with red hair. Depends... if a woodsman wanders into my domain and proves himself worth against me, I may embrace him. But then I toss him to t That poor, demented soul no one else seems to want, that wants to be free. Depends on my mood. If I'm bitter, I'll take the person who has the status and wealth I don't... and relieve them of it. If not, Someone successful... a bit of wanderlust and the soul of a trickster doesn't hurt.

Where can your haven be found?

Someplace secure, and well-hidden. I'd prefer someplace underground... a great cavern, buried temple, the like. What haven? I move around far too much to be bothered with creating myself a permanent haven. Thus, I sleep where I can... or me Wherever you can find chaos and ruin. The plague-ravaged village, the abbey that burnt to the ground... that kind of thing. As far from mainstream society as possible. Sewers, catacombs, underground passages. Wherever there's corruption and pleasure to be had! Big cities are the best, everyone knows they breed corruption... I live in a chantry with a handful of my clanmates... sometimes when we're forced to move to the city, our pariah status forces
