Recap: Nick ran into the forest and now you and Vilmaris are following Darry to tell Rex.

Darry barges into the room under the stairwell, and the door swings shut behind him. You crash into the door, unable to stop in time, and Vilmaris passes through you and the door.

You step backwards, rubbing your head, and Darry opens the door for you from the inside. "Sorry, I forgot the door shuts fast." He looks behind him to glare at somebody. "I told you we should get that fixed." Rex walked into view, holding a book and

You do #2 and watch as both Darry's and Rex's eyes widen. Darry runs off with a look that could kill on his face and Rex doesn't move, but his hands ball into fists after dropping what they were holding and his eyes narrow into slits.

"What do you mean he kissed you?" Rex's words were cold and clipped. "Well, Carter kissed me first, and Nick misinterpreted something I told him as me asking him to kiss me too..." You trail off knowing you had them hook, line, and sinker.

Rex walks out of his room at a human pace, but as soon as he's past you, he runs so fast he's a blur. Before you could attempt to follow him, Vilmaris speaks. "You're smarter than I gave you credit for." "When did you get there?" You ask, startled.

"I haven't moved." You glower at him, but he pays it no mind, striding foward on a path that led towards you. Not comfertable with the idea of him walking through you again, you step out of his way. He looks at you with unreadable eyes. "You know, I can

see why they got so upset at the news." "Huh?" He shrugs, "You're attractive and affable. What else is there to say?" He then proceeds to disapear as your jaw drops.

You do #3. You don't have to go far, Rex is lecturing an ashamed looking Nick about ten feet from the house. Darry is standing off to the side with an odd expression on his face. His face was completly blank of emotion.

Rex went quiet and didn't stop Nick as he went over to Darry. While Nick was using multiple methods to get Darry's attention, you walk over to Rex. He looks stressed, but caculating. "What happened?" You ask. "Carter was kidnapped." He answers.
