I dread getting the test back. There's no way I did well in it, and I loathe to think what my teacher thinks of me now. Although I didn't study for the test, it was on topics that we've covered before, so I have to have answered something right. I don't know and don't really care. I'll worry when the final exams come up, no sooner. Although I didn't study for the test, I still hope that I've managed to do well on it. It's always exciting to get back a test! I don't think I'll do well in this test, but if I make the time to study and slack off less, I'll do better.

You have just received your test back. Whatever your expectations, you did NOT do well on the test. In fact, the teacher makes a comment about expecting a lot more from you in the future. Your reaction?

At least now I know I'm not good at impromptu tests... I'll just have to spend a bit more time for revision next time. This was so humiliating, my teacher expects better from me! Next time, I'll study like hell and ace the test! Just what I thought. What is the point of taking a test? I could've been learning something during that lesson. Don't care. My class-work will balance it out... somehow. I think. I'll worry later, when the exams come up. I expected this, though it doesn't make it any less unpleasant. I know I can do better than this if I try.

Hooray! A lottery! I can win a car, a holiday or even money! And the proceeds go to charity! Lotteries are stupid, rigged and a waste of time. Now get me hazelnuts. No salt this time. I don't have any money. Do I? I don't want to get my back from the storage compartment. It was hard getting it there! The chances against it are astronomical. It's not a good use for my money. I'd rather buy something to eat. I know that the chances of winning are slim, but... it's all about the adrenaline!

A person that you like (or feel neutral about) has approached you and offered to do something recreational in your spare time. Doesn't have to be a date, it can simply be a classmate that you haven't made an effort to know more about. You think...

They must want something. Is it money? Help with homework? Well, you're not getting it from me, you leech! Go away! A potential new friend, and they're taking the initiative! This is a good sign, I thought something nice was going to happen. ... I hope they're intending to pay for it. IF I go. As it is, I'd rather spend some quality time with my computer or book. Well, from what I've heard and seen, they seem to be genuinely nice and responsible. I'll think about it. I'll talk to them in school for a bit longer, before I risk getting involved more.

Your parents have decided to teach you a lesson about responsibility, and have given you a choice in a new pet. What is your choice of companion?

I want a cat or a dog, they have really distinct personalities and can make great friends and companions! Ugh, all animals smell. If I HAVE to have one, I'll get a ferret. They sleep all day. And are less stupid than a rabbit. Err... do fish count? What about crickets? Something in a bowl or aquarium, please. Well, rats are easy to take care of, they can entertain themselves while I'm away but are fun to watch while I have the time. ... can I have a turtle? A really old one? Taking care of any living being is a responsible task. I would like to start with something small, like a hamster. Bunnies are cute! They have twitchy little noses! What the hell am I going to do with it if it dies? I live in an apartment complex! There isn't a patch of dirt in miles! I want something fuzzy, fun to play with but that's still relatively easy to look after. A guinea pig for me, please!

The last question. How would you imagine your career to be like?

I have a hobby or a skill that I really think I can make a living with. I can see myself going far. As long as I can support myself and something small and furry, I'm content. I'm not exactly sure what I want to do with my life, but what I am sure about is that I can do well with whatever option I take There is a lot of competition out there, but not many people work in their specialisation anyway. I'll be happy for any job. The situation is really bleak right now. No worse time to enter the work-force! This is going to be hell for quite some time. I would like to go on to get something well-paid, easy and fun... but I'm willing to start small (and tedious).
