If you had access to human music, what musician, composer, singer or band would you most likely want to listen to?

I'd listen to Loreena McKennitt or Enya - something pretty and quiet, with that otherworldly, moon-worshipping touch. Some hot rock star... I don't really care too much about the music, as long as the guy on the CD cover is hot! Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem Mass, or something like that - quiet, but strong, and beautiful. Like me. I don't care, really... something bright and happy and loud!! Something that'll really annoy the old cats, too. REM, or Jethro Tull, or U2... not as loud as the above choice, more mellow. Music? Oh... well... it doesn't really matter to me. I'll listen to anything, from Oingo Boingo to Tchaikovsky.

Cats don't wear clothes, I know, so they don't really have styles, as such... but if you were a human, what would yours be?

Maybe a goth... or just kind of quietly eclectic. The kind of person who might end up going psycho at some point and blowing som A skater, for sure! I want a skateboard... I could zoom all over the junkyard, and seriously irritate everybody! Cool. I'd be one of those earth-worshipping hippie types. Probably a Wiccan, too. See, I already have the pentacle... Teenybopper - I get to giggle a lot and squeal over hot guys. How much better can life get? I don't do styles - I'm my own person! Which wouldn't stop me from following all the trends I possibly can. I'd be a dancer, an actress, a musician, a ceramicist - something artistic. I want to create beauty...

The inevitable question about colours... you knew it'd be here somewhere. So, which is your favourite?

White! It's pure and pristine and lovely... just like me. Blue - that lovely shade of twilight or dawn, just before the sun rises or sets... Really bright orange - it's fun and wacky and nobody ever seems to like it but me! Black - it's the metaphor for the Night and Magic and, hey, it goes with everything! Ooh, leopard print for SURE... *drools* Maybe something light, neutral... nothing _too_ insane. Brown, perhaps, or grey.

You're a cat, right? So what kind of human owner do you want to have, provided you could choose?

A rich old lady living on her own, who would spoil me rotten and leave all her money to me in a will, instead of to her childre A family, with some little kids to play with. I want to be paid a lot of attention to, though, so they can't be _too_ busy. It would be someone who lived alone, or maybe a newly-married couple. But quiet people, who would take care of me but not expect I'd be a family cat, but no little kids, please - I hate getting dressed up in doll's clothes! Maybe some teenagers. I wouldn't have an owner - I'm a feral, a street cat. Humans don't pay any attention to me other than to torture me on Halloween A nice, sweet old lady. The grandmother-type, who would lead a quiet life.

"...it will be with someone just like you." Hey, I know that song! I love it! Love? Ick. That's all some cats think about, but they're no fun... you'll NEVER catch ME falling in love! "...it will be with someone super hot!" Like the Rum Tum Tugger. ;) "...it will be with -- wait! I'm not telling!" "...it will be with someone who can dance better than me." And since that will never happen... "...it will NOT be with Mistoffelees. No matter what everyone says."

If you yourself were not a cat, what kind of animal would you want for a pet?

I would want a cat! After all, cats make the best pets. --Biased? I'm not biased... I would have a llama! Or, wait, a yak! Or maybe an octopus... I might have some fish, but nothing that would take too much work to care for. I would have a dog... a nice big Golden Retriever or Australian Shepherd. A pet without too many brain cells, but just enough to A bird - a very pretty songbird, or else a raven or sparrow. A snake... or a lizard... or a tarantula! Cool.

What period of history would you most like to have been born in, and where would you spend it? (providing you were human, of course)

The Roaring 20s, and in England - decadence and dancing and life and lights and lots of fun! Not to mention cute flapper clothes Ancient Egypt - cats were worshipped back then, you know. I'd be a priestess, of course... I would live in Japan during the 1600 or 1700s. I would lead a quiet life as the pet of a king or noble... 11-something, in Ireland or Wales - do I need a reason? Right NOW in 2002, and right HERE where I already live. I don't want to change anything about my life! Seven hundred years in the future, on the Mars Colony!!! Talk about exciting. And hey, who said it had to be in the past? ;)
