You shrug. "I don't really know what happened, to be honest with you..." Owen bites his lip and looks pensive. Then he asks, "What about your past? Can we talk about that?"

Sure! Wait, what IS my past? Okay. Awww, Owen's so cute... What? Oh. Ok. I guess so. YEP!!

You nod. "Sure. Basically, my parents are divorced. I don't know my dad at all, and my mom's working most of the time, so I kind of raised myself. She was on a business trip when I got, um, taken by those guys."

Owen clears his throat. "My mom and dad are divorced, too, but I live with my dad. He works from home, so we stayed together a lot... he was there when the guys took me. He just kind of stood there and watched as they drove away with me..."

Tears pricked his eyes as he swallowed. "But it's okay. I'm used to it. He never really took care of me, anyway..." He drifted off into silence. "I guess I raised myself, too."

BOY'S POV: "We've got to go! Now! I don't care what happens to us, we've got to rescue her! Who knows what she could do in the wrong hands?" Cameron is pacing back and forth, Brandon is laying in the chair, Shawn is sitting on the floor, and Marco is

...nowhere to be found. Cameron's the one talking. "We've got to go. Let's go!" Shawn leaps to his feet. "Fine, let's go then," he says and starts out the door, spreading his wings and immediately taking off.

That was nice of Shawn to be so assertive for me. HURRY! Come on, Cam, stop talking and start MOVING! Help meeeeee... Fine, take your time. See if I care.

Cameron and Brandon glance at each other, and Brandon reluctantly changes into wolf form and allows Cameron to climb on his back. Then he starts running after Shawn, who is following your scent.

Woo! Go Shawn! Do I smell all that strongly? HURRY! Heeeeelp... ...

In a few hours, Shawn comes to the train car and looks, smells, and feels around - his senses are much stronger than a human's. Then he takes off again, following your scent trail on the ground.

Good, I was worried Milan's smell would mask mine. GO SHAWN!! Where are the others? Help me Shawn! Taking your sweet time, are you?

He follows the right trail for as far as you know, then keeps going straight. Soon the road branches into 2. He chooses the left way and just keeps on flying until he reaches a mansion-like structure that looks too homey, like a DisneyWorld attraction.

That couldn't be it -- Homey? Fake-homey... sounds like it might be the place. Definitely the place. Milan wouldn't want it to LOOK like the place where he hides captives! Who knows? HURRY!

Shawn tucked in his wings and waited for a while. Soon Brandon and Cameron come into view around the corner, Brandon looking exhausted. "You stay out here," Shawn says, sounding concerned.

But Brandon's smart! He should help. Yeah, he looks pretty tuckered out. I don't know, I think they should all stick together... PLEASE hurry? ...

Brandon shakes his head, and goes back into human form. "Let's go... in," he gasps, and leads the way into the mansion. The other two flank him, looking defensive. They move silently past door after door, finally coming to what looks to be your room.

YAY! They're here to rescue me! See? Told you Brandon should come. What a relief -- I thought they'd be attacked or something. Cool. Took them long enough.

YOUR POV: You hear a soft tap on the door, and Owen starts to stand up. "No, no, I'll get it," you say, wondering who it could be. You stand and walk over to the door, looking through the peephole. But it seems to be covered up somehow.

Is it Milan? Darn. I bet it's the boys! YAY! Why couldn't Owen get the door? *shivers* *reaches for the knob*

You reach for the knob, and pull the door open. There's a girl on the other side, looking impatient. "Come with me, Owen," she says irritably, then notices that, hey!, you're not Owen.

Do I look like a 13-year-old boy to you? *sigh* Another new person. Aw, not Milan. Whew! Not Milan. Whatever.

Owen gets up from the bed and walks over to the door. "Oh, it's you. Natalie, this is Maddie. She's my maid." Maddie looks peeved, so you figure that Owen calls her his 'maid' on purpose to make her mad.

"Cool," you reply. You shrug, indifferent. You size Maddie up. "Hey, maid." "What's she want you for?" you ask Owen. *blink*

Maddie glares at you, and you wonder what you did to make her mad at you. (Unless you chose "C". xP) "Owen, just come along please," she instructs, but Owen shakes his head. "I don't wanna."

"Go Owen, standing up to your maid!" you say, cheering him on. Jeez, she's a jerk, you think, then say, "He declines." "He's not going nowhere with you, lady," you retort, miliseconds after Owen. "Not a chance!" you yell as you step protectively in front of Owen, hand on his shoulder. "Um, no," you say.

Maddie purses her lips. "Well, alright," she says, turns, and closes the door, locking it as she does so. You gulp. "It's okay," Owen says, sounding sure of himself. "She does that a lot."

That makes me feel so much better. Where are the boys? *sigh* Can this get any worse? (Me: Yes. Owen could leave or something.) Do I have food? Water? Clothing? Does Owen? Whatever happened to Milan?

You sigh and nod, wandering back to the bed. "I guess you'll be staying here for a while, then," you say with a small smile, and Owen grins back. You're beginning to love him like a little brother, without all the "You're annoying!" stuff.

Eloquently said. Awwww. What about the /other/ boys? The ones that are supposed to be saving me? Miiiiilllllllaaaaan. Where? Nice.
