Recap: You, Aya, Fay, and Hina were kidnapped.

~Carter's POV~

Ow... what was that? It feels like someone put a bomb in my head and it exploded. Something... something happened. Something bad. Oh shit! ____ got kidnapped! I got to tell the guys! Wait, rescue ____! Argh, which one?!

I jumped to my feet and immediatly lost my balance. Alright, I'm not humanoid at the moment. I'm a bird. Yeah, that's useful. Crap, I can't change back! That's just perfect!

I flew back to the house as fast as my wings could take me. At least I turned into a bird a of prey before that thing... did whatever it did to me. Oh, there's a window! Dive!

~Nick's POV~

"Nick, could you get me the brown book with red binding from the second bookshelf?" Rex asked me. "Sure!" I dashed over and scooped up the book. As I was passing the window on the way over to Rex, something rammed into the window, making me drop the book

"I thought cats were graceful, Nick." Darry told me as I screeched in pain. Rex rolled his eyes at us, and opened the window. A bird jumped onto the sill and started squawking. "Can you understand it, Nick? I don't speak bird." Rex asked. "Ask Darry, not

"I guess I deserved that." Darry muttered, though his hair turned red anyways. "Carter? None of us speak bird, so you have to turn back." Bird Carter shook his head and jumped into the house, turning into a cat in midjump. "I can't turn back. That doesn't

matter right now though. Everyone was kidnapped! Aya's house is desolate! I think the guy who took them was a demon." He told me in cat. My eyes bugged out of my head. "What did he say?!" Rex demanded. I retold Rex and Darry in english.

Rex straightened up, like he was going into leader mode. But before he could tell us what to do, the unimaginable happened...
