ALLEN!
How you met:
You were watching your brother's band play at a club. He was the lead singer, and even though you knew you should be looking at him and cheering him on and stuff, you sort of had your eyes on the lead guitarist. And, it seemed like he had his eyes on you too, the way he kept looking at you during each song. You looked for a mirror in case you had something on your face, but you couldn't find one. So you took out your cell phone and used the foggy blacks screen. You didn't see anything on your face, but you saw a group of guys looking you up and down from the back. You quickly whipped your hand around to see them smirk at you. "Hey there, girl," one of them said cockily. "Wanna come back to my place? I could show you a night you won't ever forget," another one of them said with a wink. You shuddered, and moved deeper into the crowd to avoid them. Everybody was so into the concert that you didn't think they noticed, but unbeknown to you, someone did notice...When the concert was finished, you waited outside for your brother. He was flirting with every girl who came within three feet of him, and was taking a hell of a long time. Suddenly a car pulled up in front of you, full of the guys who were shamelessly hitting on you earlier. "Hey babe, need a ride?" one of them asked. "Hell no," you replied. "Why not? We don't bite, sweetheart," another one said. "Unless you want us too," the first guy said, winking. "Fuck off. She's off-limits. If you want to get laid, find some other girl. Probably one that is a skank, since anybody with pride and brains wouldn't ever get into a car with you," someone said. You turned around, and your heart did this sort of fluttery thing when you saw that it was Allen. The boys in the car scowled and drove away. "Your brother taking a long time, eh?" he asked you. You nodded. "Here, why don't I go tell him I'll drive you?" he asked. You thought about it for a second, before nodding. He grinned. "Awesome!" he went back into the club and came back a few moments later. "My name's Allen. And you're ____. I know because I've seen you at our gigs before, and I thought you were really cute so I asked your brother if he knew who you were. And obviously he did, being your brother and all." You blushed, and smiled as he held the car door open for you to get into.
Back to the present:
"Do I tell him? Do I not? Do I tell him? Do I not?" you asked the flower, as you picked out the petals one by one. The last petal you picked was when you said "Do I not?" and you took a breath of relief. "Good! I don't tell him!" you said brightly. As you turned around, you nearly crashed into the muscular but still slim figure of Allen. "Don't tell who what?" he asked, smirking a little. "Erm. Um. That...well, uh, nothing. Nothing important," you fibbed. Allen threw you a heartwarming smile. "Do you honestly want to keep your pregnancy a secret from me?" he asked. Your mouth dropped open. "How did you know?!" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a pregnancy test, holding it up with his thumb and middle finger. "Listen, I want you to know I'll be behind you and support you, with whatever you choose to do. So, may I ask what is it you want to do?"

JASON! How you met: You and your family were going to your sister's dance competition. Your sister was "the perfect daughter" in your parent's eyes: pretty, fashionable, popular, and smart. Well, relatively smart, anyway. And she was also talented. You still had no clue what your purpose in your life was, and you didn't have any aspiration or solid hobby. You just did whatever. All these attributes made you the official black sheep of the family. The music came on, and your sister's dance group performed a jazz routine. You honestly didn't think she was that good - she knew the moves, but she had no technique or special style that made her stand out from all the rest. "She danced. Can we go now?" you asked your parents. They shook their heads. "We'll stay for one more dance. She needs to get her stuff ready before we can go." You slumped farther down in your seat, and watched as the lights on the stage flicked on, and a new dance group appeared. They were dressed in black and blue, which you thought might represent misery and tears. You sat up a little in your seat, since already this dance was looking interesting. "Dancing to Le Disko by Shiny Toy Guns, we've got Melville High's contemporary dance group!" the person over the loudspeaker announced. The song came on, and the people started dancing. They moved their bodies in freakishly cool ways, and you found yourself captured by it. You decided that first thing when it was over, you would ask your parents to sign up for contemporary dance lessons. As you looked at your parents to see if they were as moved by the routine as you were, one dancer caught your eye. He was a boy with a skinny frame, blond bangs, and black hair stuck up with gel. He must have felt your gaze on him, because he looked your way and kept looking until you looked down. He couldn't be looking at me, you thought, No one ever notices me. But throughout the dance, you thought you saw him glance your way at least six times. It made your heart jump around a little to the beat of the music, and a blush form across your cheeks. "Are you alright?" your mother asked, "You look surprisingly happy since we left all of a sudden." You just nodded, and tried to calm yourself down a little. But then the boy looked your way again, and the smile went back up on your face. Your mother sighed in frustration before settling down again. After the dance was over, you and your family waited outside the dressing room for your sister. She came out, looking worried. "I lost my necklace!" she said. "What necklace?" your mother asked. "The silver one! The one that Tiffany gave me for my birthday last year!!!" your sister replied. Your mom and your sister left to go to the dressing room and look for it. "Oh, would you look at that. They've got food. Come and get me when your sister finds whatever she's looking for, okay?" your father asks you. You nod, and watch him go off. Now you were left all alone. You feel someone poke you, but you just shrug it off thinking it must be someone's hand accidentally grazing your back to get their coat on or get something out of their bag or something. But then you hear an "excuse me?" and you turn around to come face-to-face with the boy. "Oh! Right! Erm...hi!" you said, completely surprised that he was talking to you. He gave you a small smile. "My name is Jason. Is Rebbecca your sister?" You nod. "Thought so. You look kind of alike. What's your name?" "_____," you respond. "Pretty name. Do you dance as well?" he asked. You started blushing lightly again, and shook your head. "You should. You look like you could be a really good dancer," he tells you. "Yeah, I'm thinking of doing contemporary. It looks really cool. You guys were really good!" you say enthusiastically. He laughs lightly. "Want to hang out? I could show you some dance moves, if you want." You grin and nod. Back to the present: You pick up the phone, hand trembling, and dial the all-too-familiar number of your current boyfriend. "Hey, ____?" his voice asks, sounding keen. "Hey, Jason...um...I have something to tell you..." "Well what is it? You know you can tell me anything," Jason says. "Well...it's...erm..." you're trying to find a good sentence starter to say such an important thing. "Just say it. I promise I won't be mad or upset, whatever it is. Or is it good news?" "Well it depends on how you look at it..." you begin to say, before taking a deep breath, "Jason, I'm pregnant." The phone line goes dead. You hang up the phone miserably, before drowning out your sorrows by eating Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Suddenly you hear your doorbell ring, and when you open it you see Jason. He pulls you into a tight hug. "Sorry for hanging up," he apologizes, "It's just that it was something so important and personal that I didn't feel like discussing it over the phone. We're keeping it, right? I mean, only if you want to..."

JORDAN! How you met: It was the Fourth of July, and everybody was at the park, waiting for the fireworks. You and your family were fooling around, when you spotted a group of kids your age with similar taste in clothing playing around by the water. You told your family you'd be right back, and walked over. You weren't one to be shy. "Hi!" you said brightly. They turned to look at you and smiled back, introducing themselves. After the whole meet-and-greet, you all started joking around. Suddenly, one of the guys picked up a girl and threw her in the water. A boy with black and blond swoop bangs turned to you with an evil grin, and before you know it you're being tossed into the water as well. Followed by all the rest of the shrieking girls. You got out of the water, and mock-glared at the boy. Partly because you were all wet, and partly because your shirt was white and you were wearing a black bra which didn't help improve matters. "Who do you think you are?!" you asked jokingly. "Well, I think I'm Jordan. And who do you think you are?" the boy responds. "Oh, I don't think, it hurts too much...but I remember my name going something like ____." The two of you laughed. Suddenly a voice boomed across the park: "We will be staring the fireworks within five minutes. Find a place to sit, and get ready!!!" Jordan turned to look at you, and smiled. "Wanna sit with me? I've got a blanket. And here..." he pulled off his Guns N' Roses hoodie and pulled it on over your head. "Here you go, m'dear. So that you don't catch a cold, and so that no perverted creep stares at your chest." You smiled gratefully, and said, "Sure, I'd love to sit wit you, just let me tell my parents where I am." You told your family you were going to sit with some new friends, and they agreed. You went back over to Jordan, who took your hand and led you over to a blanket on the ground. The two of you sat down, and he still didn't let go of your hand. Suddenly, he started shivering. "You're cold! See! I knew this would happen!" you said, and he laughed. You wrapped your arms around him, much to his surprise. "Do you mind if I do this?" you asked. He shook his head. "Why on earth would I mind cuddling with such a pretty girl?" he asked. You blushed, and the two of you sat entwined together, watching the fireworks light the sky. Back to the present: You fiddled with your hands nervously. What were you gonna do?! What were you gonna say?!?! You had phoned Jordan to come and meet you here to tell him the news, yet you didn't know how to get around it. "___!" Jordan shouted your name in greeting before swinging his arms around you in a tight hug. "Woah, careful, careful!" you said, thinking about the baby. Jordan pulled away puzzled. "Why? What's up?" he asked. You looked down at the ground and shifted from foot to foot. "Jordan, I'm pregnant...and it's yours..." no sooner had the words left your mouth that Jordan picked you up and swung you around and around. "Seriously?! No joke?! Do you have any idea how happy I am right now?! Ever since that night, I always hoped you were, because well...'cause I love you, ____, and I'm going to support you and the baby as best as I can!"

DANIEL! How you met: You were blackmailed into being a clown and handing out balloons for the Halloween party by Katie, the popular girl. She told you if you didn't do it, she'd tell everybody you still slept with your favorite toy. She knew about this because she used to be your best friend, until she went for the popular group in grade seven, and you went on the path that was more you. ANYWAY, there you were, covered in face paint and wearing a very unflattering costume, holding out balloons to random people. "Yeah. Here you go. What are YOU laughing at?! HEY. Don't you walk way from me!!!" you said in a monotone voice, all up until the last part, of course, in which case you started laughing at a group of kids taking your picture with their cell phones and laughing. Grr. This wasn't fair. She just had to choose you to be the clone, didn't she?! Suddenly, you felt someone trip behind you, and some sort of liquid stain your back. You spun around to see a boy with black hair eating his face get up from the ground (he had fallen over) to look up at you through his swoop bangy fringe thingy. He quickly lowered his eyes, ashamed. "I'm sorry," he said quietly, "I just tripped. I'm really clumsy." You looked behind him to see Katie and her posse snickering. You automatically knew that he didn't "just trip." You ripped the rainbow wig off your head, and pulled off the costume to show a tank top and shorts that you managed to squeeze on underneath. "____, what are you doing?! You know exactly what I'll do if you just walk out on this party!" Katie said. You rolled your eyes dramatically. "Yes, Katie, I do. And I don't care. I know that you all feel sorry for me, being the loner that I am, having nobody come to my birthday parties, having no one give me a card on Valentine's Day, and having no offers to trick-or-treat with someone on Halloween. But you know what?! I don't feel sorry for myself. I feel sorry for you. You used to be so smart, and you used to actually do something besides from finding guys to date and then dumping the next day, and you used to actually read something other than labels on clothing. And the biggest reason I feel sorry for you? It's that you get pleasure out of making people's lives miserable. But it's only pleasure that lasts about a couple of seconds, so you have to go off and find someone new to make fun of, and that only lasts a few seconds, so you find someone else, and so on and so on and so forth. Your life is such a big mess, yet you continue screwing it up just to be cool and to fit in. Well whatever - I'm not being a part of your entertainment anymore. And you don't need to tell anybody my dirty little secret - I'll just tell them myself." And with that, you got on top of a table, and screamed out, "Hey everybody!!!" The speakers got turned down, and everybody's gaze fell on you. "Katie wanted the satisfaction of telling you this, but I'll beat you to the punch - I STILL SLEEP WITH MY FAVORITE TOY. Yes, that's right. I still cuddle up with Teddy. Thank you for listening, go back to this lame gathering that you call a party now," you said, and stepped off the table. Then you stormed out, leaving Katie's face a vibrant shade of purple, and her posse's mouths wide open. As soon as you got outside, you just stood there, rocking back and forth on the balls of your feet, and looking at the night sky. There really was nothing to do - your mother was taking a late-night shift at work, and your father was away in Chicago to do business-type things. Suddenly, you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned around to come face-to-face with the boy. "Hi," he said with the smallest of smiles, "My name is Daniel. I know this is really random, but I really admire what you did back there. I wish I had that much courage. She's been picking on me for two years straight now, and I never had the gust to tell her off. So yeah...you're pretty much my new role model. Just wanted you to know that." Then he turned around to leave, but you grabbed his hand and pulled him back to face you. His face flushed an embarrassed shade of red, and yours a light pink from grabbing his hand. "Sorry," you said, "I just felt like talking to you. So...er...what other things has she done to you before?" He grinned and sat down on the front lawn of the house where the party was being held, and you sat down beside him, and the two of you started talking. Back to the present: You cautiously walked up to his locker, the little envelope clutched in your hand tightly. "Just do it," Katie whispered to you. That's right, the same Katie who made your life miserable for such a long time. She had finally been shaken back to her old self after your little outburst at her party, and she had come outside to find you and apologize. You two were friends again. Yayness! "Are you sure I should to this?" you asked nervously. "Of course! He's the father of your baby - he deserves to know!" You sighed in defeat. "Yeah, you're right." You were about to slip the envelope into his locker, when all of a sudden, a voice said, "Hey. What's that?" You turned wide-eyed to see Daniel looking at you with curiosity. "Um. Right. I'll just go..." Katie quickly took off to leave you two alone. "Erm. Here," you shoved the note into his hand. He slowly opened the envelope, looking at you the whole time. Then he took out the little note, and his eyes scanned the writing. His gaze stayed at the small piece of paper, before looking back up at your face. "Are you serious about this?" he asked. You nodded, crying a little. "Yes. I'm so sorry!" you said, tears springing to your eyes. "Sorry? For what?! For making the happiest guy alive?!" you looked up in surprise at his words. He wiped your tears away, and softly kissed your mouth. "Don't apologize. I've never been happier in my life - well, apart from when you agreed to go out with me, that was really awesome too, but..." you laughed a little, and the two of you hugged for a hell of a long time.

RYAN! How you met: "____. Dance with someone," your friend said, sounding irritated. You rolled your eyes. "No thanks, I'm good." "You haven't danced with anybody yet! And look - I've danced with ten guys already. Come on - just one teeny tiny dance!" You shook your head stubbornly. "No. There's no one I like here." Suddenly, you felt arms wrap around your waist, and spin you around. You found yourself face-to-face with a guy with pink, blue, and black hair. Normally this would be a barf-worthy combination, but on him it looked GOOD. "H-hi..." you stammered. "Hello, my lovely. Would you like to dance?" he asked sweetly. You turned your head to see you friend nodding yes so fast and hard that she looked like one of those bobble heads. "Yes...sure...I'd love to..." you said, still suffering the aftershock of him calling you "my lovely." He took your hand and led you onto the dance floor. "Um...I don't really know how to dance," you said. "S'ok. Just shift your weight from foot to foot in time to the music. Not like you really have any weight. Do you eat anything at all?" he asked you. "Erm...yeah. Just less then the average person, I suppose." He smiled at you, a smile that was so perfect that you wanted to turn around and walk away. Someone as perfect as that didn't deserve to be around someone as not-so-perfect as you. "Hun, you don't need to worry about what you eat. You've got a beautiful body, as well as a beautiful face. You make all the other girls here look like heaps of crap. No offense to them or anything," he added quickly, "Just anything looks worse then it normally does in comparison to you." You could feel yourself blushing. "See! You can TOTALLY dance!" he said, pointing excitedly at you. You realized that you had been moving your body in some sort of way to the beat of the music. You felt good doing it, and some couples on the dance floor were looking at you with impressed looks on their faces. The boy leaned down and whispered in your ear, "All the guys probably wish that they were dancing with you. And I don't blame them. I'm so glad that you chose to dance with me." You smiled back at him, before realizing something. "Who are you, anyway?" you asked. He laughed a little. "Sorry, lovely. I just got so excited, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Ryan. And you...?" "_____." "____ and Ryan. Ryan and ____. It fits!!!" he said excitedly. The song stopped playing, and you were about to leave, when Ryan gently took a hold of your hand and pulled you back up against him. "Where do you think you're going?" he asked playfully, "I was just getting to know you." You spent the whole dance talking to him about nothing important, and everything that mattered. Back to the present: You looked up at the clock, anticipating the arrival of your long-time boyfriend. He would always burst in around this time, give you flowers, ask how you were doing, and hang out with you. Suddenly the door burst open. "HEY _____!!!" his voice flooded the tiny room of the apartment. You felt his arms wrap around you from behind you, and butterfly kisses go down your neck. "What's up? Was anyone mean to you today? If they were, just tell me who and I'll go and kick their arse!" Ryan murmured into your neck. You laughed. "That's sweet Ryan, but nobody did anything bad to me today." "Phew. That's good, because if they did I'm not sure I'd go and beat them up. I'm too sleepy today. But look! I brought you flowers!" he shoved a bouquet of pretty little flowers in your face. You laughed, and took them from him. "Thanks, babe," you said, and kissed him. "No problem. So...what's up?" "Um...Ryan, you might want to sit down for this..." Ryan threw you a weird look, but shrugged and sat down. "Kay. What's on your mind?" "Ryan...promise not to get mad?" you asked. Ryan nodded. "Promise. Pinky swear." he held out his pinky. You smiled and shook your head. "No, that's not necessary. Um...listen, I'm...pregnant." Ryan's eyes nearly popped out of his head. "Seriously? ! Are you kidding?! That's GREAT!" You blinked in surprise. "Really? You're not mad?" "Why would I be mad? The prettiest, most caring, most friendly, and most smartest girl on this whole universe and BEYOND is having my baby. What is there to get mad about? Come on now, we've gotta go celebrate!" And with that, he hugged you, grabbed your hand, and pulled you outside to have some fun.
