Healing Wings *DNAngel Sequel* 3

Number three. Again, I probably won't be posting this regularly. My summer is hell, dad just got back from the states and has gone army on us. Mom just got outta the hospital again, and I have to take care of her (dad's to pissy/busy. sister = bitch) I'm volunteering my ass off at the library, and I'm babysitting constantly. Oh, and they're most likely taking away my laptop cause I spend too much time on it. Cause I have so much of the thing called time on my hands currently -_-

“Tell your parents Akai says hi.” I smiled for him, as he passed out. His form slowly shimmered into nonexistence, and I was left alone once more. I went back to my chair, and closed my eyes.

Daichii jolted awake and stared at his clock, it had only been a couple of minutes. Too creepy he thought as he remembered the pale woman’s smiling face. He could have sworn he had seen it before, but couldn’t place where. I have to find out who she is and how to get her out of that place. He promised himself.

First, the young Niwa went to the place that every teenager went to when they needed information, the internet.

Daichii had always been rather good at finding information… and hacking, a skill that the few friends that knew about it regarded with respect, yet no matter how much he did a search for the girl called Sky or even Akai, he came up with not one correct person, no one even similar. Normally, Daichii would just give up, obviously it was a dream, and he should just drop it. But he knew it wasn’t a dream, that girl had existed, exists, somewhere. She exists. And he needed to know more about her.

So he was forced to do something drastic. He had to ask his parents. It was actually quite convenient for him, because just as he was getting ready to ask them, they all came up from the basement. He took this chance to herd them all into the living room, saying he needed to ask them something. Sky had indeed mentioned his Uncle; so he might have some information as well.

“What is all of this about Daichii?” Asked his mother, she and his father had puzzled looks on their faces. They suspected nothing.

“I had a dream earlier today." His parents looked at him encouragingly. "About a girl.” Satoshi and Risa immediately looked awkward.

“Um, Daisuke, Riku, I think you might want to handle this one on your own. Call us anytime.” Risa said as she and Satoshi scrambled out the door. Daichii couldn't remember the last time that he had seen his aunt move that fast without falling. After they were out, Daisuke cleared his throat, obviously feeling quite awkward.

“Um, son, well, didn’t you learn about this in school?” Riku asked hesitantly. It was then that Daichii understood what his parents were saying. ~A.N. Sorry ^^' I couldn't help it. I had FLE (Family-Life Education a.k.a Sex-ed) that week. It was too tempting!~

“NO! It wasn’t that! I had a dream about a girl named Sky, she had black hair and grey eyes. She couldn’t have been over 19! She said she went to school with you two. Her wording was extremely confusing! She acted like she knew you both!” he yelled. Both of his parent’s nervous expressions faded to that of concern.

“She told me to mention Dark or Crab, and she also mentioned something about a Phantom Thief. She said that you had all the answers. So, do you?” He asked. He really wanted his answers. He hated being left in the dark and by the look on his parents’ faces, they knew all too well.

“Son, I think that you might benefit from just forgetting all about this incident. This was obviously just a dream, so you might-" Daichii cut his father off and said pleadingly, "Dad, I know it wasn't a dream. Don't try to write it off as one. She also said her name was Sky, but also told me to say that Akai says hi." Daisuke immedietly got the picture.

“Riku, do you think you could do a search for Sky in different languages? I want to make sure it’s her we’re dealing with before we do anything.” His father asked while his mother complied.

“Dad, what’s this about? I’m tired of not having my questions answered, even when she promised me some!”

“She played twenty questions with you huh?” Daisuke asked, laughing.

“Yah, why?”

“Nothing, it was always her favorite game to play, but she would never give any straight answers, always dodging, giving another question to answer the one you had given her, and of course, and answering it with a riddle.” Daisuke continued.

“So, who exactly is she?” It was then that Riku came back with a paper in her hand.

“You’ll never believe this Dai. It is could be her.”

“How? How did you find her? I searched every website I knew, and I didn’t find one trace!” Daichii yelled. Riku looked puzzled, and looked to her husband.

“She played twenty questions; you know how she loves her loop holes.” He told his wife. Riku nodded.

“It turns out that Sky is Caelum in Latin, and you’ll never guess this- Guess whose name also happens to be Sky?” Riku asked, even though neither of the males knew the answer to that question.

“Remember her cat?”

“But it can’t be her Riku, she-.” He stopped himself in mid-sentence.

“We have to tell him, she already told him too much, we have no choice.” His father sighed, defeated, “Fine, we’ll tell him.” And so Daisuke and Riku went on to tell Daichii of Night Kaitou Caelum, and Phantom Thief Dark, Krad, and the Hikari. By the end of the explanation, Daichii’s head was so full of facts that finally made sense; it was rather surprising he hadn’t heard Dark or Caelum’s name said before. Yet he still wondered what had happened to them, and why they were no longer around.

“No one bothered remembering.” Said Daisuke simply, and that was how their conversation ended. The explanation had taken the rest of the day, so it quickly became night, and Daichii was tired, and hoped that he could get the chance to see Caelum once more. To try to get some real answers from her, after all, he liked information that came straight from the horse’s mouth, well, technically he did get that type of information, but there were parts where his father had been so vague, he felt that he didn’t know what he was talking about. So, Daichii dragged himself upstairs, and fell asleep. As he fell asleep, he saw her face in his mind, still pale, but not as deathly, like it was regaining life; and her hair started to get faint gray streaks.

Soooo didja like it??? Did ja did ja did ja???? Sorry, too many Finding Nemo's. Who knew it was possible to watch it 4 times in one day. Not to mention constant reruns of the same part over and over again o.o sorry, babysitting memories. Those children are the devil! Anyways, as always, tell me what you think and you get recognized ^^ Thankies.
