This is the first chapter of the the first book in the series. In each story a different 'monster' will be in love with a human. In the first story a vampire is in love with a human.Alex:
I woke up after another restless night. I couldn't get rid of the nightmares I'd been having lately.
In the dreams, I always felt like I was being watched. Then I would turn around and this bloody, monster type thing was staring at me.
I geuss you could say she was beautiful...underneath all that blood.
She had long, silky black hair, her skin was so pail it was almost white and her eyes, oh her eyes, they were topaz, almost ready to turn gold.
She didn't look like she was going to attack. She looked almost like... like she was in... love.
But with who? Who was that beautiful lady in love with?
Was she day dreaming?
Was there someone behind me only she can see?
Or is she in love with....Me?!?
I shuddered. It couldn't be. Could it?
This was starting to scare me a little bit. I was a geek. Who would love me?
